Patron 2026-27

We are extremely honoured to announce that our patron for the 2026-27 academic year is The Right Hon Lady Vivien Rose of Colmworth, DBE.

Lady Rose became a Justice of the UK Supreme Court in April 2021, being the fourth woman in history appointed to the court. 

Standing out from a traditional commercial path, Lady Rose left private practice in 1995 after ten years at the Bar to serve in key government roles, such as Director at the Ministry of Defence and Special Counsel to the Speaker of the House of Commons, before her first judicial appointment as Chairman of the Competition Appeal Tribunal in 2006.
